Year 6 Production - Planet Funk

The Year 6 Production of 'Planet Funk', an original musical written by Head of Prep Music Mr Groom, was an out-of-this-world all-singing, all-dancing event complete with live band, set and costumes.

The evil Phillislimes, led by the megalomaniacal Fimon Foul, have hatched a dastardly plan to conquer the entire universe. Using highly subliminal three note hypnopop to coerce humanity into building a gigantic hydrocanon, they aim to obliterate the sun, and in turn the Phillislimes’ sworn enemies and guardians of the galaxy, the all-wise Seven Red Dwarves of Gaviscon. With humanity hypnotised, it falls on the unlikely hero Les Spacehopper, a downtrodden cleaner, and his trusty droid GDPR to leave Planet Earth and begin a life-transforming quest against the powers of evil...
