Welcome from our Head of Prep

At Kimbolton Prep School, we recognise how important the first years of education are. Our vision is to provide an outstanding, modern, all-round education that challenges children to become curious, courageous, and kind young adults capable of making a positive impact on the world. We encourage integrity and endeavour from the moment children join our community.

Our ethos is rooted in creating a collaborative, supportive, and inspiring environment. We view our school as a family where kindness is paramount, and pupils are always our priority. Each pupil is known and supported individually, fostering their intellectual, spiritual, physical, emotional, and social growth at every stage. The positive and collaborative relationships we foster with parents and guardians are also essential to the growth and development of every child. Kimboltonians work diligently, embrace personal responsibility, and are willing to take risks. Our school culture is characterised by empathy, service, humour, and respect for diverse perspectives. Our dedicated staff are crucial to our success, and their growth and satisfaction are equally important. The stunning grounds of Kimbolton Castle, which our pupils regularly use, enhance our educational environment, blending heritage and the natural world with innovation to prepare pupils for the world beyond school. We value our broader community connections, including former pupils and parents, and are committed to our responsibilities locally, nationally, and globally. Inclusivity is at our core, ensuring that every child feels valued and supported both in and out of the classroom. Ensuring we have happy children who are making progress, contributing to the wider community and are ready for a seamless transition into the Senior School at the end of Year 6, are of paramount importance for the Prep School staff team. We look forward to extending a warm welcome to you!
