OK Veterans Football - Jan 2012

Following a desire by several veteran OKs to have another opportunity to play on the school 1st XI football pitch, an OK Veterans football team was organised by Simon Doyle (82) and a match against a Manchester University & Friends team was played on Sunday 29 January.  Proving that age has nothing to do with fitness (the average age of the OKs team was around 45!), both teams played hard and provided a good match for each other.  The OKs perhaps had the edge during the second half and, on the final whistle, had won the game 2-1.
