On Saturday (11 January), 19 pupils from across the Senior School competed in the County Cross-Country Championships at Netherhall School. Following their success in November over a flat District course, the considerably more undulating course proved a real challenge for all runners.

The following ran exceptionally well and qualified for the Regional Cross-Country Championships in February:

• Alasdair (13th, Minor Boys)
• Pippa (11th, Junior Girls)
• Lucia (14th, Intermediate Girls)
• Alice (13th, Senior Girls)

Special congratulations to Olivia who also qualified, finishing 3rd place in the county in the Intermediate Girls.
