After several years without a win, the OK netball team were finally victorious in their annual match against the School 1st VII in January.

The team, ably organised and managed by Danni Belbin, were determined to break the long succession of School wins and set off on the attack right from the beginning.  With some of the team actively playing at university or club level, they proved to be a strong match for the School team and the score at the end of each quarter was very close.

With accurate shooting by Jess Gingell and Bliss Laurence the OKs started to take a valuable lead in the second half of the game;  the team gradually built on this resulting in a final, rather impressive, score of 25 - 15!
