OKs named in Queen's Birthday Honours 2020

We are delighted to see the names of two Old Kimboltonians in the Queen's Birthday Honours List 2020 in recognition of their contribution during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Acting Major Eb Mukhtar (OK 96), Corps of Royal Engineers, Army Reserve, was awarded an MBE for his involvement in creating a vital e-portal for the delivery of PPE to the NHS during the early stages of the pandemic. Eb was previously singled out during one of the Government's daily briefings by Gen Sir Nick Carter and praised for stepping up to work with the engineer and logistics staff corps on the supply chain distributing PPE.
Marcus Jones (OK 03) was awarded the BEM for maintaining transport services during the pandemic. As the Service Delivery Director for the Docklands Light Railway Marcus was nominated by Transport for London in recognition of providing the leadership necessary to keep these essential services running.
