Kimbolton runners did themselves proud at the annual county schools cross country championships held at Priory Park, St Neots, in cold, wet and muddy conditions on Saturday 14 January. With a high number qualifying to reach this round from the District event, there were several impressive performances on the day, leading to qualification for the Regional round on 4 February.

In the Minor Girls event, Tiggy was 2023 county champion! She had excellent support from Clara, 3rd, Olivia, 4th and Thea, 8th, all of whom qualified to represent Cambridgeshire at the regional round. Also qualifying for the next round were Erin, 13th in the Inter girls, Pippa, 7th in the Senior girls, Rafferty, 2nd in the Minor boys and Harrison, 6th in the Junior boys.
