Passing of Marian Donaldson

It is with sadness that we inform you of the death of Mrs Marian Donaldson, wife of Dr David Donaldson (Headmaster 1973-87).  Dr Donaldson died earlier this year.  Mrs Donaldson’s daughter, Fiona Tompson, writes to say;

“My mother Marian died peacefully on Sunday at her nursing home in Cornwall, where she received exceptionally good and affectionate care and where my sister and I could visit her every day until the end. My mother Marian had cancer for a short time and was cared for in The Beeches Nursing Home, Hayle, Cornwall, where she died peacefully on Sunday 8^th May. Both parents left their bodies to medical research and very much did not want funerals, so the family will just remember them privately.”
