Prep School (ages 4-11) Virtual Open Day - Friday 12 June 2020 - Join Us Online
Join us online to find out how your child (aged 4-11) could benefit from a Kimbolton education.
Following the success of our first Prep School 'Virtual Open Day' in May we are offering a further opportunity for prospective families to join us online and gain an insight into our school on Friday 12 June 2021. Parents can also pre-book an informal chat with our Prep School Headmaster, Mr Philip Foley, with half-hour meeting slots available throughout the day.
The day will include a virtual video tour of the Prep School led by Year 6 pupil guides (filmed shortly before we closed and social distancing came into force), a chance to explore our campus using a 360 degree interactive map, and the opportunity to find out what other people are saying about a Kimbolton education. You can also discover how children from Reception to Year 6 are currently following a daily programme that offers structure and continuity of learning during the COVID-19 crisis, using the interactive learning platform ‘Seesaw’.
Attendees - wherever they are in the world - can join us online to discover how "pupils can spend their whole education at Kimbolton enjoying the benefits of a happy environment, small class sizes and excellent pastoral care." (Good Schools Guide)
Mr Foley said: "With COVID-19 we have successfully adapted to a new way of remote teaching at the Prep this term, so it seems appropriate we offer a new type of Open Day too. I look forward to chatting with prospective parents and hope the programme we have put together will give them a real feel for our school - a place where children have the room to spread their wings, grow in confidence, explore and have fun.
